Clinic Etiquette

To make your experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we ask that you please observe the following clinic etiquette.

Making Appointments

Always advise us if you are making an appointment to visit us in our Shellharbour Clinic or Wollongong Clinic.

When scheduling your appointment, please inform or remind us of any health conditions and medications you are taking, or if you are pregnant. This information is important to your skin therapist or cosmetic physician when making accurate recommendations of treatments.


Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time on your first visit. This gives you plenty of time to check-in and fill out our client information card. You may be asked to update your information from time to time.

Mobile Phones

On arrival, please turn off your mobile phone or switch it to silent in consideration of others and to enjoy your much deserved “me” time.


Please arrange childcare for your young ones during your appointment time. For the safety of your child and comfort of all our clients, it is not appropriate for children to be present inside our clinics. We appreciate your understanding.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late and we have another booking after you, we will need to adjust your treatment time accordingly.


We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and you cannot keep your appointment. We simply ask that you please give us 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.


Your privacy is important to us. Any information you provide is only used by Skin Correctives and will not be shared with any third party.
