Before Treatment

The procedure itself is non-invasive, quick, and usually painless. Prior to the treatment, the targeted area is cleansed to remove makeup or any bacteria. A numbing cream is also applied to the target area to minimise any discomfort. You will also get recommendations about aftercare to reduce the possibilities of side effects such as swelling and bruising.

We always inform our patients about possible side effects and complications before the procedure takes place.

During Treatment

We use sterile syringes and gently apply the syringe to the target area. A brief pinching sensation may occur when the needle goes in. Following the procedure, a gentle massage of the area may be needed to reduce the possibility of creating bumps.

After Treatment

After the treatment, some patients may experience swelling, bumps or redness on skin which will go away in a few days.

Aftercare is crucial to avoid side effects and to make sure you get the best treatment results. Therefore, we would advise against any makeup in the area for 4 hours after the treatment.

Avoid intense physical exercise for the first 24 hours after the procedure, as well as certain skin treatments and skincare products that can create additional stress on the treated area.
