About the Treatment

During this treatment, we use a state-of-the-art device with tiny pins located in its tip. Stimulating skin in this manner safely delivers heat to the deeper layers of skin and creates microscopic wounds. This process kickstarts the skin’s natural healing processes, and the treated area is filled with new cells.

Nano Fractional RF Resurfacing is one of the most comfortable resurfacing treatments and is, therefore, more suitable for clients who’s skin does not tolerate laser treatments or chemical peels. Last but not least, this technology is truly unique in its ability to cover a greater surface area and treat multiple issues in the same session and can be applied as a body treatment as well.

Before Treatment

Before the treatment can start, we will assess your current state of the skin. If you are visiting us for the first time, please allow an additional hour for our complete Facial Imaging Consultation. We will review your unique skin conditions and goals to see if a nano-fractional treatment is right for you.

Our expert Skin Therapists have been through professional training for all our treatments, including Nano Fractional RF Resurfacing, and operate at the highest standards, so you can feel confident you are in the best hands.

This treatment can safely be performed without a numbing cream, however, it is available for your added comfort (to be purchased separately). Numbing is based on personal preference and can be discussed with your Skin Therapist.

During Treatment

During treatment, you will lay down comfortably while our Skin Therapist delivers the treatment using a professional hand-held device.

You might experience slight discomfort and stinging feeling as the machine traces over your skin, however, the discomfort usually lasts only a few seconds; the areas with thinner and softer skin (for example, crow’s feet and under-eye areas) tend to be more sensitive.

After Treatment

Due to heat used, your skin will be very red and hot (similar to a sunburn) up to 48 hours after the treatment. However, you can go about your day immediately and resume wearing makeup 24 hours after treatment.

Some clients might experience localised swelling, which usually last 3-4 days for most.

After the third day, you can expect 'micro crusting' (dry, flaking skin), usually lasting 7-10 days. You must not pick or exfoliate your skin during this time; micro crusting will go away naturally, as it is a part of your natural cell turnover.

The number of sessions you will require to achieve your skin goals will depend on your individual skin program, but is typically 3-4 sessions, every 4-6 weeks. Your Skin Therapist will determine the right treatment program for you.

After treatment, it is particularly important to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. For the first 48 hours, it is best to avoid excessive sun exposure, excessive sweating, and harsh chemicals.
