Just like our body, our skin needs oxygen to thrive. Often, due to a combination of environmental factors and poor circulation, the skin does not receive the blood and oxygen flow it needs.
Our ‘Glow’ facial is a popular oxygenation treatment, leaving the skin cells looking bright and healthy. ‘Glow’ is a great choice for you if you wish to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve blood circulation, and boost collagen production for younger-looking skin.
The two key components of this treatment are the Quick Peel and a customised nourishing mask.
Quick Peel, with its main ingredient Cassia (similar to cinnamon), tricks the skin with a pseudo-heat to bring up fresh oxygenated blood into the skin and increase circulation. Furthermore, it lifts off dead skin cells and material and kills of skin bacteria through gentle exfoliation.
Depending on the condition of your skin, we will recommend one of the following customised masks:
If you are about to visit us for the first time, we recommend you to undergo the Facial Imaging Skin Assessment (it's cost is redeemable on your first skin treatment with us).
During treatment, you will be lying down comfortably while your Skin Therapist applies the Quick Peel, a gel-like substance that smells like cinnamon. The Quick Peel substance can feel cold while being applied, but after a while will feel a little hot and stingy (a fan will be provided for your comfort). This is because the substance generates pseudo-heat, which brings up fresh oxygenated blood to the skin rapidly. When the substance starts to dry, it is removed and the hydrating/Acu mask is applied. While the mask is left to sit on your skin, you will enjoy a relaxing scalp massage.
Immediately after treatment, your skin will look and feel fresh, tight, and glowing. Your skin might appear a little pink due to the increased circulation and blood flow, however, this should subside within an hour.
A Facial Imaging Skin Assessment is an essential first step in your skin correction journey. That’s why we offer a complimentary skin consultation with your first skin treatment.
