Rebuild and maintain healthy-functioning skin with Enzyme Therapy. A hard-setting facial mask, which contains living enzymes and stimulates cellular processes within the skin, will give your skin a proper workout.
Optimal skin functioning is the key to slowing the ageing process and correcting skin conditions naturally, resulting in rebalanced, rejuvenated and firmer complexion. It’s not surprising that an excessive build-up of dead cell tissues, combined with poor skin functioning, is what contributes to all skin concerns.
You can think of Enzyme Therapy as a workout for your skin. The enzymes kick-start your skin’s optimal functioning by:
The hard-setting mask creates a downward pressure, which stimulates the circulatory system to pump fresh oxygenated blood throughout the capillaries (this is known as the “Plasmatic Effect”). Fresh nutrients and oxygen are delivered to skin cells and toxins, dead cell material, and lymphatic build-up are removed via the lymphatic system.
Before the treatment can start, we will assess your current state of the skin. If you are visiting us for the first time, please allow an additional hour for our complete Facial Imaging Skin Assessment.
You will be required to give consent for treatment by signing the 'Informed Consent' form. This way, we can make sure that you can receive the Enzyme Therapy treatment and have no present conditions which are contraindicated with this procedure.
Because every skin is different, your Skin Therapist will recommend the optimal enzyme mix to suit what your skin is presenting with on the day.
A typical Enzyme Therapy treatment goes on for 70 minutes. The Enzyme mask is left to set for approximately 45 minutes; most clients welcome this opportunity for a power nap while enjoying a complimentary foot massage.
Once the Enzyme mask is applied, it sets very hard. You will feel a pleasant pulsating effect in your veins and capillaries, which is caused by the blood and lymph being pumped through.
After the Enzyme Therapy, the Plasmatic Effect (visible veins and capillaries in the treated area) is present for about 20 minutes. Your skin will feel and look refreshed.
We recommend that your first few Enzyme Therapy treatments are repeated a week or two apart. This continues to stimulate oxygen flow and skin’s cellular processes to strengthen, rebuild and correct the skin's dysfunctions.
A Facial Imaging Skin Assessment is an essential first step in your skin correction journey. That’s why we offer a complimentary skin consultation with your first skin treatment.
